The Heidelberg castle is probably one of the most impressive sites throughout Europe. Located on a hill overlooking the city and the Neckar River, the castle grounds are immaculate and the view gorgeous as shown by these photos. Heidelberg is a very nice medium-sized city located on the Neckar River about 50 miles south of Frankfurt. Bonnie's favorite part of the city is the Hauptstrasse or Main Street. This a pedestrian area with hundreds of shops and cafes of all types and sizes - strolling along is a great way to spend a summer evening.
The European headquarters of Mark's employer were located here. During his first month in Germany, Mark stayed with friends in Heidelberg and worked out of that office.
